Andrew Borron is a Berklee College of Music educated Cambridge/Boston based electric and upright bass player knowledgeable in styles spanning from Jazz to Pop. He began playing in jazz bands at the age of 12 after a friend told him he should pick up the electric bass. Quickly developing a love for music and the bass his thirst for music couldn't be quenched.
After joining a small jazz combo called The Modes he knew music was his passion.
In order to expand his musical possibilities, Andrew began to play the upright bass at the age of 14.
Andrew has played in many clubs across Cambridge and Boston with performances at Ryles, The Lily Pad, Beat Brasserie, Club Passim, and the Four Seasons Hotel. He has also attended the 2016 Panama Jazz Festival with his High School World Jazz Ensemble, where the ensemble performed and assisted in clinics.
Andrew graduated Berklee College of Music in 2020. While attending Berklee, he has performed on several studio recording sessions, performed in many local bars, pubs, clubs, and special functions throughout Massachusetts and Maine. He also discovered a burning passion for music education, and the joy of sharing the wonderful possibilities being a musician has to offer.
